Description |
In the 1990s, BMW and PTG were very successful racing the E36 M3. Advertisements were produced in The Wall Street Journal to promote the success. This advertisement is from March 27, 1998. This has the Yokohama M3. "The car with the most doors wins." M3 4-door Sedan Wins 12 Hours of Sebring. The same stunning family sedan that won its class at 24 Hours of Daytona was back wreaking havoc last weekend, taking first and second in class at 12 Hours of Sebring. In fact, an M3 has won its class at both Daytona and Sebring two years in a row. And while M3 race cars are making their presence known in the winner's circle, street-legal versions await your visit at your local BMW center. You can even get one minus a couple of doors. This is in a black metal frame and double matted in black and red (to match the race car). |
